Hollis Borders Bass:  I’m Hollis and I live in Madeira, just outside of Cincinnati. I’m married and we’re looking forward to celebrating our 30th anniversary this year. We have two sons, ages 22 and 24. The oldest graduated from UC last May but is back home, working remotely until it’s safe to relocate to California for his job. I’m so glad to get some extra time with him before he moves to the west coast. The youngest lives near UC and will graduate this May. He has a job in Cincinnati, so I’ll have one child close by! I’m a freelance writer and I’ve worked from home pretty much since my boys were babies. I enjoy riding my bike, reading, painting kindness rocks (a new COVID hobby), and soccer. I’m excited to be part of this group and getting to know everyone.

Kim Winderl Bryant:  Happy 2021 from Monroe, Ohio. I am currently halfway through my 21st year teaching and while every year brings change, this one has been a doozy! We have been in-person from the start and it’s going as well as can be expected. That’s not to say it’s not exhausting, but we are making it work and it’s definitely what is best for kids. I have a 7th grade son, Brayden. He keeps us busy with select soccer and decided to throw in the 7th grade basketball team this year as well. My daughter,  Kennedy, is currently involved with winter swim team and volleyball and loving both. My husband, Ethan, is a data analyst for Mercy Health and currently working from home. I have joined Lindsey’s challenge groups in the past and I’m glad to be back. When I turned 40, my gut health fell apart! I’ve spent the last 3 years putting it back together by going gluten, dairy, and egg free. (Had some food sensitivity testing done to determine this.) it’s not easy, but I would consider myself optimistically stable right now. I have spent the last 5+ months caffeine free and that has been a positive change too. Now it’s time to get the exercising back in order.  I am incredibly blessed to live across the street from Julie and thoroughly enjoy our walks together. Also blessed to have my mom, Kathy, 10 minutes down the road. She spends her days perfecting yummy recipes that are “Kim friendly” and us always up for a walk as well. My Fitbit is charged, synced with my phone, and back in my wrist. Let’s do this!  Updated January, 2021

Michele Mazey:   Michele Mazey: I am a busy mom of 3 from Cincinnati. I know Lindsey through my son playing soccer with her nephew but have gotten to know her better by pulling in her accountability help the past couple years! I have come to rely on her And her groups for the unwavering support! My husband has a busy job and my kids are 17, almost 13 and 6. I  just started a full time job working from home for Zoo Digital, after 11 years as a mostly SAHM. I'm a "stress non-eater"...when I get busy and preoccupied (ok, all the time) I put myself last and don't worry about my own needs. This year, I want to continue to focus on getting my steps (harder now with a desk job), doing daily yoga and viewing food as fuel for my body to do what I want it to do! Updated January 2021.

Kathy Snowbird (Winderl):  ):  My name is Kathy, and I am the proud Mom of Lindsey and Kim, and ever Blessed sister-in-law to Jan... I have participated in quite a few of the special groups including the very first one that consisted of family members. They have all been eye opening and have had great impact on my life and decisions concerning my health. I have tools in my box, but do I always use them... no way, but I'm working on it.... I think I use the just eat 9's and 10's tool on a regular basis and I know I drink 4 times the amount of water I ever drank before an accountability group entered my life.   I am now back in Ohio full time with just trips to sunny locations instead of living in Arizona surrounded by sunshine.  Being closer to family trumps all!!!!!  Exercise has become more of a challenge, not only with the move but also Covid.  My classes were shut down so had to come up with my own work out area and routines.   Now I have to plan intentional walks and work outs instead of just going to class 5 days a week. I am not good at pushing myself nearly as hard as an instructor but I'm working on it.   I have a blog called winelovingvegan.com that keeps me playing in the kitchen and hopefully helping others transition into more plant-based meals.  I am excited about the monthly motivation which really means full time motivation.  No days off to lose ground....more real life!!!  AND that's my goal....not a diet.. not something I do for a week or until I lose 5 pounds or whatever that number happens to be... but something I do on a regular basis because that's the healthy me I want to be!!!!! Oooo...I rhymed!!!  :) :) :)  Updated January 2021

Jan Graves: I have been happily married to Kevin for 38 years and counting. Kevin's sister, Kathy, is Lindsey's mom, which makes me "Aunt Jan". We live in Melbourne, FL 30, minutes south of Cocoa beach. Kevin is a retired SWA pilot. I was a stay-at-home mom while my two boys were at home. I did a lot of volunteer work at the school while they were there and for years after my youngest son graduated. He is now married, lives nearby, has a soon to be 9-year-old son and they will be having a new baby boy at the beginning of 2021. Kevin and I like to travel now that he is retired. We love to scuba dive, hike, bike ride, swim and go for walks. We are in the sandwich generation and I spend a great deal of time helping my soon to be 93-year-old mom. I worry about her constantly. My grandson, who is the light of my life, has some issues and I worry about him constantly. My oldest son just moved to the Tampa area and I worry about him constantly. I have health issues which impact my movement, my sleep and my weight and keep me from doing things I love. I worry about it constantly. The common thread going here is constant worry! My stress levels are through the roof. I do not feel healthy. Updated January 2021.

Ginger Munroe:  Ginger Munroe:  Hello, I am Ginger. I am a former back door neighbor (the best kind to have) and close friend to Jan. Our boys have been close friends since preschool. I am a mother of a 32-year-old, 30-year-old and a 19-year-old (our rainbow baby, God's surprise blessing).  Our youngest is doing a gap semester in the spring till she can do college classes in person.   I have two grandchildren, 5 and 3. I have a busy professional life, CFO and board member of a medium non-profit that services individuals who have developmental delays, as well as a CPA firm with my partner, who happens to be my husband. I have been in these accountability groups before, which has helped me reach a goal of running 5k's for the first time in my life. Our youngest has struggled with teen depression/anxiety and these groups have helped me take care of myself so I can be there to support her. My husband and I do cardio 3 days a week to be somewhat in shape for running season. I live in Colorado and do not love running enough to freeze while I do it, lol. My type A personality means I often overextend myself, so I am going to keep my goals small and attainable.  Updated January 2021.

Kelly Larson Brown: I have known Lindsey, Kim and their amazing mama since middle/high school. Kim is besties with one of my besties Alana and so I met L, K, and K via her - and got to know them all better through various activities and celebrations over the years. I live outside of Asheville, NC. I have 3 kids (11, 8, 4), live and work on a small poultry farm (hoping to get back into more produce this year), and my real job is being a birth and postpartum doula and childbirth educator.

I am keeping very busy these days with work, two teenage children and dealing with the recent passing of my mother.  I enjoy time with family and friends and keep busy with kids’ lacrosse and volleyball here in sunny Florida.  Updated January 2021.

Debby Poskanzer:  I am single, never married, no kids, no pets (yet).   I have a long-time boyfriend, tons of friends, a great career (running taste tests/market research/designing surveys in the food industry).  I have been fortunate to travel around the world with family and friends, hiking the Milford Track in New Zealand, and walking all around Machu Picchu.  I have built a great life in Northern Kentucky, but, coincidentally I grew up in New York State, 2 miles away from fellow Power House Member, Jennifer Yacavone Fitzgerald!  She & I haven't met in person but know of some people in common.  I met Lindsey House in April 2007 when I lost a bet to my personal Trainer, and I HAD to meet a dietician for a consult!!   Linds and I immediately "clicked" and she took over during my trainer's maternity leave.  I loved working with Lindsey, and we combined workouts with food talk.  I have kept her around as a 2nd trainer ever since!!!   I respond extremely well having personal trainers to motivate and push me....so I have 2 additional trainers who help as substitutes, since Lindsey moved to Arkansas.  My trainers have all met each other, along with a physical therapist that helps me.  Combined, they are my Dream Team!!!   I hope to lose more weight, stay strong, avoid or delay hip replacement, a 2nd knee, and/or fully recover.  Updated January 2021
